Tropicana Rolls Out New Poker Room, Two New Games

Those who enjoy poker-based casino games have two new options to check out at the Tropicana in Atlantic City.

Asia Poker and Three Card Draw Poker are both now at the Trop. Plus, the two games have debuted in step with the property’s new poker room.

“These exciting new poker games are just the latest example of Tropicana’s commitment to deliver MORE fun, value and variety to our players,” explained Tropicana General Manager Steve Callender.

Three Card Draw Poker now live

This new game is available on the main casino floor. With an ante, players receive a three-card hand. They then try to improve their hands against the dealer. Here’s the Trop’s official game description:

If you like your cards you can match the Ante and make an “In to Win” wager to play on. If you prefer, match your Ante and make a “Draw” wager, discard one card and receive a replacement, you’re still in the game, if not fold and forfeit the Ante. You play head up against the dealer. The dealer’s hand always qualifies.

Bonuses are paid according to paytables. A separate optional bonus bet of your First Three Cards against a paytable increases your chances for a big payout.

The new offering joins several other poker-based variants, like Let It Ride and Caribbean Stud.

Don’t forget Asia Poker

Asia Poker can be found in the casino’s Jade Palace gaming area. For those familiar with Pai Gow poker, it’s a very similar game. Again, here’s the casino’s description:

Players receive seven cards which they form three separate hands of four, two and one cards each called High, Medium and Low. The object is to out-rank the dealer in at least two of the three hands. Hands are paid one to one, with no commission.

A separate Bonus bet where the player’s hand is compared to a paytable gives players more ways to play and large payouts to win.
